First year students of Clan Wild Cats Ankheer village

First year students of Clan Wild Cats along with faculty members of Manav Rachna University visited village ‘Ankheer’ today. The objective of the visit was to get an insight into social & cultural realities of rural life and to spread awareness on subjects like ‘Save Girl Child’, ‘Child Labor’, ‘Green & Clean Environment’ and ‘Personal Hygiene’. Teams of students & faculty members visited local areas and M.D Public School, Ankheer. The videos related to the said themes were shown to the school children. To raise awareness, students of Manav Rachna University gave the message through Nukkad Natak, Role Plays, games & some activities. The school children participated in all the activities and were appreciated with goodies and gift hampers.

MRU students also conducted an empirical survey through a questionnaire to observe the living conditions of the residents of the village. Data collected through the questionnaires would be used to prepare a workable action plan to improve the conditions of the residents. Clan Wild Cats, MRU shall be regularly visiting the village to spread more awareness and shall work towards bringing changes in the lives of the village residents.
