FET bade Farewell to the students of Batch 2014-18
Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies bade farewell to the students of Batch 2014-18 in a grand way recently. Farewell 2k18 was titled as ‘ALIVE’ which comprised events like Ramp Walk & Introduction, and Talent Round & Question Answer. All the students were dressed immaculately and beautifully.
The function began with the lamp lighting by the esteemed guests including Dr. NC Wadhwa, VC, MRIIRS; Dr. M.K. Soni, Pro-VC, MRIIRS; Dr. R.K. Arora, Registrar, MRIIRS; Dr. Naresh Grover, Dean Academics and Dean FCA; and Dr. V.K. Mahna, ED Quality Assurance and Enhancement .
The day was full of fun with events like Group Dance, play on College Life, and Group Song. These events created an aura of entertainment and togetherness in the auditorium.
The Ramp Walk and Talent Round were judged by Ms. Gurjeet Kaur Chawla, Assistant Professor and Associate Dean, DSW; Dr. Pushpa Tomar, Associate Prof., Department of Biotechnology, FET, MRIIRS; and Ms. Prerna Kakkar, Assistant Prof., Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, FET, MRIIRS.
Various awards were given to the students for different categories which are as follows: Shivam selected as Mr. Farewell (ECE); Anjali selected as Ms. Farewell (Aeronautical); Zerin (ECE) as Mr. Brainy; Pooja (ECE) as Ms. Brainy; Mr. Shubham Panwar (ECE), Kaushal Pandey (BioTech), Mandeep Singh (EEE), and Jawad Shamim (Aeronautical) for Awesome Beard; Aseem and Pooja (ECE), Aakash and Kritika (BioTech), Shyam Veer and Anushka (EEE), and Sahil and Rakhi (Aeronautical) awared for a Photogenic face; Sakshi (BioTech) and Gaurab Prabhakar (ECE) were awarded for the best dress.
It was indeed a memorable day with all the students sharing their experiences and memorable moments of their college years.
