FDP on “Digital Tools in Teaching & Research”

Faculty of Media Studies and Humanities (FMeH) organized a five-day faculty development programme on “Digital Tools in Teaching & Research” recently. The objective of the FDP was to train the teachers in the use of digital tools for academic purposes, creating research profiles and digital skills which can be used for writing research papers. Experts from Digital School of Delhi and certified Google trainers- Mr. Rajender Rawat and Prasanta Das conducted the programme.

The participants were given exposure to Google tools, Google forms, Google sites creation, and ranking tricks. They enthusiastically created their own websites on Google sites and learnt the ways to make their blogs popular. They were also apprised about the usage of Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube for research and academic purposes. The programme incorporated both theoretical components as well as rigorous hands-on practical training sessions.
