FDP on Ardiuno and IoT

Mr. Vijay Kumar Gill, Assistant Professor, ECE Department, Manav Rachna University conducted FDP on Arduino & IoT . It was initiated with the introduction to Arduino, Raspberry Pie, MIT APP Inventor2 and Proteus Sofware.

IoT is embedded with Electronics, Internet connectivity, and other forms of hardware, these devices can communicate and interact with others over the Internet, and they can be remotely monitored and controlled. Arduino is an open-source Electronics platform based on easy-to-use hardware and software. Arduino senses the environment by receiving inputs from many sensors, and affects its surroundings by controlling lights, motors, and other actuators.

The Raspberry Pi is a tiny and affordable computer that you can use to learn programming through fun, practical projects Turning a Raspberry Pi device into a retro games console is a fun project, and it’s one of the first things many a new Pi owner turns their hand to. App Inventor for Android is an open-source web application originally provided by Google, and now maintained by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which allows newcomers to computer programming to create software applications for the Android operating system.

The Proteus Design Suite is a proprietary software tool suite used primarily for electronic design automation. The software is used mainly by electronic design engineers and technicians to create schematics and electronic prints for manufacturing printed circuit boards.

All the faculties did hands on training on projects like LED Patterns, Microservomotor, LCD , Ultrasonic Sensor ,Bluetooth Module and Interfacing of these modules in various ways.
