Faculty Development Program 2021
IQAC, Manav Rachna University organized an FDP on Reflective Teaching – A Tool for Teaching -skill –enhancement for Teachers’. The FDP was organized to bring awareness among teachers about the concept, process, and benefits of Reflective Practice and motivate the participants from various disciplines to adopt Reflective Teaching to becomes effective and happy teachers.
Dr. Kiran Gupta, Associate Professor, Faculty of Education and Humanities and Dr. Hardeo Thakur, Associate Professor, CSE, MRU, Faridabad was the resource person for the day. Dr. Hardeo Thakur started the program by briefing the audience about criteria-1 as well as why the topic has been chosen and how will the participants get clarity and insight about different components of the criterion? Dr. Kiran Gupta in her presentation elucidated the concept of Reflective Teaching, she illustrated with simple and easy examples its process. The main stress of her presentation was on the advantages of Reflective Teaching not only for the teachers but for students and the organization also.
The session was concluded by Dr. Charu Pathak, IQAC Co-Coordinator, MRU.
