Facebook Event Organized

Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) conducted a Facebook Event on September 4, 2018. This event targeted budding computer science engineers to get a first hand experience on VR Technology and get them aware of how and where to start off with VR and its impact on the industry. Following were the experts who gave the session:

1. Mr. Sukhman Preet Singh Jawa: VR Community Evangelist @ Facebook SoI

2. Mr. P Bharat: Program Manager @ Facebook SoI, Strategic Partnerships @ SV.CO

3. Mr. Gautam Tewari: Indian VR pioneer and Founder @ SmartVizX

Two students won the quiz and were given VR Headsets. Dr. Suresh Kumar, Prof. & HOD of CSE, FET presented memento to the experts as a token of appreciation and motivated students to enroll in the online course. Amrit Kaur Choudhary, a 3rd-year student of B.Tech CSE & Microsoft Student Partner along with student volunteers and faculty members of the department conducted the event.
