Expert Talk on Scientific Research by Dr. Pinaki Chakraborty

The Department of Computer Science and Technology, Manav Rachna University organized an expert talk on “Introduction to Scientific Research” by Dr. Pinaki Chakraborty, Assistant Professor, Computer Engineering Department, Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, New Delhi. Dr. Chakraborty is an esteemed researcher in the field of compiler construction, operating systems and computer science education. He has published numerous papers in prestigious journals and conferences. Dr. Chakraborty addressed the research scholars and faculty members of Computer Science Department. He gave a broad and integrated introduction to the conduct and interpretation of scientific research. He spoke about the conceptual and the technical aspects of research, as well as all phases of the research process. He acquainted the audience with the good practices of scientific writing. He also clarified the criteria to select an appropriate journal or conference for publishing research work.The talk motivated the young researchers to pursue their research by following the best practices in their domain.
