Expert lecture on Advanced Java Application Design
Department of Computer Science & Engineering, FET, MRIIRS organized an expert lecture on “Advanced Java Application Design” under Computer Society of India Student Chapter, on the occasion of CSI Foundation Day recently. The lecture was delivered by Ms. Mala Gupta, Founder, eJavaGuru.
Ms. Mala Gupta has 19 years of experience in IT sector as a developer, architect, trainer, and mentor. She has worked with international training and software services organizations on various Java projects. Her entrepreneurial venture, eJavaGuru offers Java courses for Oracle certification since 2006.
Prof. Anil Chopra apprised the students about various benefits of associating with professional bodies like CSI, ACM, IEEE. This was followed by the expert lecture by Ms. Mala Gupta who began her lecture with the Introduction and historical context of Java. She discussed designing for solving real world problems, leveraging strengths of Java in application design, coding hygiene, programming paradigms, oracle prescribed coding conventions.
After that, she explained usage of Java in the industry and also emphasized on design patterns & best programming practices. She then guided the students to choose their Career path powered by Java and building their brand in open source community. At the end, she motivated the students to do JAVA Certification to increase their employability.
