Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp at Manav Rachna

To spread awareness among the students about various facts of entrepreneurship and the journey, an Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp was inaugurated at Manav Rachna today. This is the second Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp which was planned after the huge success of the first camp held in the month of September. The camp is supported by Department of Science and Technology, GOI under the DST-NIMAT Scheme. Participants include Manav Rachna students, faculties and students from other institutions. This program also includes an Industrial Visit to Delhi Metro Rail Corporation. Also this time the program has been designed for on spot contests and exciting prizes are to be won.

With a motivational beginning of the camp, the students were persuaded to work towards ‘making themselves a brand’. Dr. Meenakshi Khurana, PVC, Manav Rachna University informed the participants about the start-ups incubated at Manav Rachna campus and the support provided in this regard.

The event was graced by Dr Amit Bhalla, VP, Manav Rachna Educational Institutions; Mr Chandra Shekhar, Co-Founder & Executive VP, Mobiquest Mobile Technologies; Dr N C Wadhwa, Vice Chancellor, Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies; Dr Sanjay Srivastava, Managing Director MREI and Vice Chancellor, MRU; Prof. Jaideep Singh, Director- Industry Interaction; and Dr Monika Goel, Chief coordinator, MRIIC.

Dr. Amit Bhalla shared the story and history of Manav Rachna. He emphasized the importance of hard work, believe and diligence. Dr Bhalla, enthused and encouraged the participants by accentuating upon the datum that not just concepts but believe in self and direction from supporters with the staunchness to not give up is the reason behind a efficacious endeavor.

Dr. N.C. Wadhwa highlighted the importance of up skilling and vocational education, and Dr Monika Goel thanked all for gracing the occasion with their presence.
Mr. Chandra Shekhar, apprised the students of various concepts of entrepreneurship. MobiQuest was founded in August 2008. The company uses the mobile device to create the largest ecosystem of performance advertising, last mile data capture and data analytics in both digital and offline world. He introduced the concept of pioneering and determined entrepreneurs.

Mr Shekhar emphasized that the journey to success is never ending; even if you achieve success the point is to keep learning and trying to be the better version of yourself. The competition is there and it will always be there so in order to stay ahead is to never stop and keep on innovating new ways to be ahead.
The three-day affair will be packed with engaging, interesting and astounding activities and sessions.
