DST sponsored 6-week TEDP in Two Wheeler Service Technology

To promote Entrepreneurship Development in Two Wheeler Service Technology; the Department of Automobile Engineering, MRIIRS is conducting a six-week Technology based Entrepreneurship Development Program (TEDP) from February 11-March 30, 2019 in association with Department of Science and Technology and HONDA.
The chief guest for the inaugural program was Mr Harbhajan Singh, Director- General & Corporate Affairs, HONDA. 44 participants from 11 Universities are participating in the TEDP. The programme will be of 36 working days (21 days for imparting managerial entrepreneur knowledge with 15 days of technical training). The Technical Training will be imparted at training centre of HONDA (Manesar) for 5 days, at Manav Rachna Two Wheeler Technology Laboratories for 9 days and at Inshu Auto for 1 day.
Mr Singh explained the definition of MSME. He further explained how from such programs, students can benefit and innovate or manufacture parts / components of Two Wheelers. He further described the traits that an entrepreneur should have.
