Dr. Robert Davis’ visit during Faculty Exchange Programme

Under Faculty Exchange Programme in association with AIS, St. Helen’s New Zealand , Dr. Robert Davis –Head of International Business Programmes from Auckland visited Faculty of Commerce and Business Studies, MRIU for a fortnight from January 16-January 25, 2017.

During his visit to Manav Rachna International University, he delivered many sessions to BBA –International Business students. He met students who are AIS New Zealand aspirants during his visit to resolve various queries related to student exchange and higher studies.

Dr. Robert’s sessions were based on Demonetization and Remonitization, Digital Marketing, Supply chain and its effects on various businesses, International Business, Implication of the Donald Triump presidency on the rest of the world and various strategies impacting business and its operations. He delivered an extensive lecture to senior students also on Services Marketing and International Business.

Dr. Robert Davis presented a different viewpoint on demonetisation and remonetization in India and he compared various facts of these changes with New Zealand policies and regulations. Also during his lecture on Trump’s presidency, he made students think on various strategic advantages to various countries and its impact on International Economy. Students thoroughly enjoyed all his sessions participating in a lot of healthy discussions on various international issues.

With Dr. Robert’s lecture, students learnt about business management strategies from a different perspective. BBA students enjoyed Dr.Robert’s lecture series and they had healthy and fruitful discussions on various issues including opportunities for BBA students outside India.

This kind of faculty exchange programmes broaden the mental horizons of students and gives them new knowledge to perform and showcase their abilities.
