DimCats Technologies: an innovative cyber security venture, incubated at MRIU
What began as amateur attempts at ethical hacking, have today transformed into an innovative cyber security and technology venture ‘DimCats Technologies’ (DC). DimCats is born out of the hard work and dedication of second year students from the Computer Science Department at Manav Rachna International University. The team comprises of Vaibhav Jha as Founder & CEO, Pooja Sharma as President, Dipansh Kumar as IT Lead and Yugansh Khera as Web & Client Relations Lead.
DimCats (DC) is a cyber security and technology innovation venture combining technology with education. The venture focuses on solving and detecting security issues within any organization. Along with monitoring security issues, the company provides ethical hacking and cyber security workshops as well as training to students, academicians and corporates. The team attributes its success to the technical support and mentoring provided at the Manav Rachna Innovation & Incubation Centre and the guidance of their faculty members. Vaibhav Jha has also authored the book ‘Hack the World before the World Hacks You’ (ISBN: 1365802434).
In a short span of four months, the students have managed more than 10 corporate partners.
