Day 1 of Learning at College Life

Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies inaugurated its three week induction program of batch 2019-20 for all programs other than engineering on July 10, 2019.  This three week induction program is well designed to integrate the students with the premier institute and to understand the functionality of the institute. Induction program constructs a bridge between the students and the faculty members.

Following the rich legacy of Manav Rachna, the students started their day with a Hawan ceremony. Dr. N.C. Wadhwa, Director General, MREI; Dr. Sanjay Srivastav, Vice Chancellor MRIIRS & Managing Director MREI; Dr. M.K. Soni, Pro Vice Chancellor, MRIIRS; Dr. Naresh Grover, Dean Academics, MRIIRS; and other dignitaries performed the rituals of the Hawan while chanting the Vedic mantras.

The Hawan was followed by moving to Prerna Sthal for paying tribute to the great visionary, a philanthropist and legendary founder of Manav Rachna Family, Dr. O.P. Bhalla. Students offered their homage to the founder and sought his blessings for their bright future.

Post that, Dr. Naresh Grover, Dean Academics, addressed the students and shared about their academic road map at MRIIRS. The session was concluded with an oath ceremony and Nation Anthem.

ERP login creation sessions and Anti Ragging form filling were done by the students in groups and students were provided with their ERP login ids and passwords. On ERP the students can have all the information related to their attendance, subjects and marks.

Post lunch there was an interactive Ice Breaking session which was conducted by the team members of CRCMC. This activity focused on developing the interaction between the students. Students were divided into groups and then presented with short performances on their area of interest. Many dignitaries participated in this event to break the ice between the students and themselves for their future within the campus.

The day ended with the interaction between the mentors and the students who guided them for the activities of the following day. The orientation team formed took care of parents and students and students left delighted.
