Culmination of Three-day National Cyber Security Conference

The three-day National Cyber Security Conference, organized by Intersquad Cyber Intelligence (World’s first Cyber Security Consortium), moved towards its grand culmination in the revered presence of dignitaries including Dr. Gulshan Rai, CISO of India, Director- Cert In; Mr. Avelo Roy, MD at Kolkata Ventures and speakers of the day. Dr. Gulshan Rai was the Guest Speaker of the day.

The day commenced with interactive sessions on Hashgraph: Is it a superior distributed ledger technology, Bug Bounty and Responsible Disclosure Programs, IoT Security, Android Security and Exploitation, Cloud Security & Best Practices in AWS, Compile-time Mutation Engine: Twisting Templates for Fun (and profit), Google Cloud Vulnerabilities, and Egg Hunters Exploitation by Mr. Rajiv Pandey, Professor, Amity University, Lucknow; Mr. Himanshu Mehta, Sr. Threat Analysis Engineer at Symantec; Mr. Umesh Dutta, Deputy Director, Manav Rachna Innovation & Incubation Centre; Mr. Tajinder Singh, Sr. Security Engineer, Paytm; Mr. Ankit Shankar Giri, Information Security Professional at Fiserv; Mr. Adhokshaj Mishra, Sysadmin (Linux) at Cnergee; Mr, Venkatesh Sivakumar, Web Application penetration Tester; Mr. Anurag Srivastava, Information Security Professional at EY, respectively.

During the valedictory session of the conference, Mr. Gulshan Rai mentioned the presence of 66 million IoT devices in the country. He urged that there is a dire need of manpower for research and development and to address the cyber security concerns. The great grandson of Avelo Roy motivated the audience to adopt a different approach to the cyber attacks. He said, “We (India) are the brightest people in the world. We are ruling this world and leading the Tech revolution”, and the present generation is the support to save the world that can only happen when we all think creatively.

All the sessions of the conference had a common agenda, i.e. to inspire actions and change the way people approach security. The conference equipped all the participants with the required information to act towards enhancing cyber security.
