Confederation of Young Leaders (CYL) visited Manav Rachna Campus!
Confederation of Young Leaders (CYL) visited the Manav Rachna Campus recently. This socio-cultural visit was attended by 17 delegates including Mr. Zhang Wei, Deputy Director, CYL; Mr. Himadrish Suwan, Chairman- CYL; Mr. Vansh Saluja, Secretary General, CYL, and others. Special interactive sessions were organized for Manav Rachna students and Chinese Delegation. The sessions emphasized the discussion of art, culture and theatre of both countries wherein representatives from both the countries expressed their opinions. ‘International student exchange programmes’ in the area of research and innovation, and how they engage students at international level were also discussed.
In addition to this, students shared information about Manav Rachna and how its various departments (Students’ Welfare, Life Skills Programme, Dr. OP Bhalla Foundation, Sports, Academics) are significantlly contributing to different section of the country.
The Chinese delegation also went on a campus tour wherein he visited Community Radio Manav Rachna, Technoplanet Lab, Shooting Range and Central Library. A cultural program was also organized to present the roots of Indian arts and theatre at Manav Rachna. CYL members from China also presented their classical dance and song.
CYL director Zhang Wei praised the infrastructure and state-of-the-art facilities offered at Manav Rachna. Several faculty members and students were present in the program including Dr. NC Wadhwa, DG of MREI; Dr. Sanjay Srivastava, VC-MRIIRS; Dr. Gurjeet Chawla, Associate Dean- DSW; and Yashika Hasija.
