Cash Flow Management – MDP

In the wake of COVID 19 lockout, when economists have started calling the economic situation as War economy and most MSME is passing through uncertainties of economic crises, Faculty of Commerce and Business Studies, Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies organized a two-day workshop on ‘Cash Flow Management’ on April 03, 2020, to April 04, 2020. There were 28 participants with diverse backgrounds of various industries like automobiles, textiles, education, exporters, etc.  who are discussing the different economic scenarios and cash management techniques when fixed costs are rising and the top-line seems stagnated or declining over time.

The workshop aims at ensuring that the tight liquidity position should not generate a sense of panic but rather explore something crucially important i.e. hidden but significant opportunities rested among the bad economic news.

Overall key take away in the current scenario of COVID 19 lockout are:

·         Don’t be too defensive

·         Don’t be too aggressive

·         Try to maintain the Elusive balance

·         Improve operational efficiency

·         Invest in both existing and new businesses.

It was an interactive session, where all the participants equally kept their points of view.”
