Career Orientation Program on CAREER IN LAW

MRU, Faculty of Law conducted an Orientation Program on CAREER IN LAW on 20^th May 2017 from 10.00 onward.

The purpose of the Program was to inspire students to take up legal profession.

The panelists for the orientation session were Prof. Jose Verghese, Prof. Emerius, MRU, Mr. Sanjay Vashishtha, alumnus Oxford University and Mr. Raj Bhushan, Alumni NLSIU, Bangalore. Mr. Sanjay gave an insight in to the legal profession in general. He also inspired students by demonstrating the power of advocates by giving an example of Advocate Harish Salve, without whose legal acumen, it would not have been possible for India to get stay from ICJ over Kulbhushan Jadhav’s execution. Prof. Jose Verghese shared his vast experience of more than 40 yrs as a professor of Law and guided students with tips to succeed in legal profession.
