COVID 19 in children: Current Status and Future Perspective. Date:11th August’21

The Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, MRDC Faridabad on August 11^th, 2021 organized a Webinar on “COVID 19 in children: Current Status and Future Perspective” for the UG, PG students and faculty. Dr. Savita Verma, MBBS, MD (Pharmacology), PDCR, FIMSA, FAIMER, Principal Investigator Covaxin, Professor of Pharmacology, Member Secretary-Institutional Ethics Committee, PGIMS/UHS, Rohtak, Honorary Member RCF Midtown, was the esteemed guest speaker for the event. This lecture was aimed at broadening the knowledge of COVID 19 in children: Current Status and Future Perspective.

The event began with the welcome message by Dr. Arundeep Singh, Principal,MRDC and Dr. ShvetaSood, Professor and HOD, Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, MRDC followed by the lecture where the speakercommenced by explaining the importance of understanding the signs and symptoms of COVID 19 in children and prevalence of COVID 19 in children. This was followed by an open question and answer session with the audience to eradicate any unclarified doubts moderated by Dr. Akshara Singh. The session concluded with the vote of thanks by Dr. Naresh Sharma.
