The Fourth day of  Manav Rachna University B.Tech. CSE & IT First Year two-weeks Bridge Program started with the session on Microsoft Word, with an aim to expose students to features like Spell check, Mail merge, Find & Replace, Inserting watermark etc. The students got a chance to visit Manav Rachna Incubation & Innovation Center with a motive of encouraging them towards research, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Students were guided towards the development of innovative and creative business ideas in subsequent stages through incubation center that will lead into successful enterprise or research.

Another session on PC Hardware was conducted to familiarize PC architecture and basic troubleshooting skills. The session helped the students to identify major external and internal components, installation of new CPU etc.

Expert talk on “Essence of Communication” was conducted by Ms. Gauri Bhasin (Head – Career Development Centre & Centre of Foreign Language, MREI). She emphasized the importance of soft skills as well as hard skills. She also shared about the interpersonal and intrapersonal skills that lead to improvement in human efficiency. She made the session interactive by engaging the students in various games with the objective to have effective communication.
