Azaadi 70: Clay Modelling Competition – 10th August 2016

Being creative is not a hobby. It’s a way of life.

Department of Students Welfare organized a skilful event – Clay Modelling as part of the “Independence 70” celebrations at 11.30 am on 10th August in T Block Auditorium.

The event caught the interest of various students from all faculties of Manav Rachna and got their creative side up and running. 13 students from different faculties / institutions of Manav Rachna participated in the event trying to pour life into clay. Students got their hands full with clay and created ingenious structures, animals and objects based on the theme ‘Patriotism’. The display of the models thrived with artistic imagination and perseverance. The event was judged by Mr. Rick De, Asstt. Professor FPA while Prof. I. K. Kilam, Dean Students Welfare was present all through.

The first place was bagged by Nitin Verma (5th semester, B. Sc. -Interior Designing, FPA) followed by Divey Kapoor (Intern BDS, MRDC) at the second place and Chhavi Bajaj (Intern BDS, MRDC) stood third. All the participants were given refreshments and certificates of appreciation. Winners will be given further recognition during celebrations on 12th August 2016.
