The Entrepreneurship Cell of Manav Rachna University organized an awareness seminar for the students in association with Bharatiya Yuva Shakti Trust (BYST).
The Bharatiya Yuva Shakti Trust (BYST) works in strategic partnership with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and primarily assists the Indian youth in the age group of 18-35 years in developing business ideas into viable enterprises, under the guidance of a mentor. BYST’s prime objective is to empower young dynamic entrepreneurs and integrate them into the economic mainstream.
The session was taken up by BYST mentor, Mr. Som Nath Dua, Chairman of the Rotary Club with rich corporate experience across a wide range of industries on the need to develop entrepreneurial skills in the students so as to ensure their self-growth and the growth of the society at large.
The session was followed by a Business Idea Contest wherein the students were given a form to write and explain their business ideas. These ideas would enter a screening process. Thereafter, the selected ideas would receive seed money from the trust with mentoring support from experts in various fields.
