Awareness Drive for Pollution Free Deepawali

“Over the Diwali weekend of 2016, India’s air quality was among the world’s worst and between 40% and 100% worse in the five north Indian cities than at the same time the preceding year, according to global air pollution data and an IndiaSpend analysis.”– Hindustan Times, 14^th Nov 2016

In order to create awareness for pollution free Deepawali, Air Falcon team interacted with the students. Some facts were shared with them to make them aware as to how much a cracker pollutes air. Students took pledge to celebrate a  Pollution Free Deepawali and voluntarily came forward to propagate the message in writing to at least five more people. Through this drive about 1600 people joined the movement within two days.
