Alumni Talk on “How to get a research based position after B.Tech.”

Department of Computer Science and Technology, Faculty of Engineering, Manav Rachna University organized an Alumni talk on “How to get a research based position after B.Tech.” recently for  B.Tech. CSE 6^th Semester students. The talk was delivered by Dr. Upasna Bhandari, Alumna of B.Tech. CSE (Batch: 2005-2009). Dr. Upasna Bhandari has received her Doctorate in Information Systems from NUS, Singapore. She holds a Master’s degree in Computer Technology Applications from Delhi Technological University, India. She has worked with Infosys (India), Tata Consultancy Services (India) before starting her Doctorate. She has been a visiting researcher at Mannheim University (Germany).

Dr. Upasna discussed the various job opportunities after B.Tech in the area of research which include Research Assistant, Teaching with research, Research start-ups and Research & Development in Industry. She focused on doing quality projects in B.Tech with an objective to add value to the job aspirations. She inspired the students to have a website or a blog related to their research to showcase their projects, research papers etc.
