Alumni Startup Meet @ Manav Rachna
Manav Rachna Business Incubator organized its first alumni startup meet ‘Meri Kahani’ at Manav Rachna International University Campus. The Meet was attended by 5 alumni startup founders, the business incubator team, Dr. Pradeep Varshney (Director – MRIIC), Mr. Praveen Dwarkanath (Accendre KMS Pvt. Ltd). That apart, Brig. Anand (Registrar – MREI) and Nitesh Karnwal (Research Associate – MRIIC, IPR Cell) also joined in the programme.
All the alumni entrepreneurs gave an insight about their ventures, their struggles, the support system they got from Manav Rachna and their future plans.Mr. Praveen Dwarkanath advised the young entrepreneurs to focus on aspects like forming a parent private limited company while marking all other brands as its subsidiaries, and realizing the commercial values and viabilities of their registered IPRs.
The BI (Business Incubator) team also showed an interest in calling these alumni entrepreneurs again for addressing our students about starting up their own ventures and dealing with competitive pressure. While concluding the meet, all attendees were presented with MRIIC gifts as a gesture of togetherness.

It was indeed an enlightenin session. The BI team now feels even more motivated to organize more such and even bigger meets with as many alumni entrepreneurs as possible in the near future.
