Department of Electronics ad Communication Engineering, Manav Rachna University organized an Alumni Lecture which was delivered by Mr. Harshit Chaubey, Alumni, B.Tech, Applied Electronics and Instrumentation (2004-2008 batch).
He Started his musical journey with French House-Nu Disco DJ duo D80, Delhi, India in 2012. Later he moved to Dublin, Ireland to pursue his Master’s in Music Technology. He has worked with Patchblocks® in UK and currently working for a renowned Hollywood Composer/Producer Wayne Sharpe who has also composed for Hindi Feature Films like Raajneeti, Apaharan, Aarakshan, Lahore and Gangajal.
His work reel has been very impressive including various big projects like World of Dance Show, NBC; Euro Cup Theme ’16; Miss USA’16; Miss Universe’17; Motion Picture Urge(2016) and Latest work, scoring for the movie 9 1 1 (2017) which is due release in July 17.
He began by introducing himself in connection with MRCE and told how his musical career started including struggle, education, exposure, challenges and measures taken by him to fulfill his dreams. He enlightened the students about the different paths of careers that can be derived from Engineering and how we can connect our interests with them, following both the academics and passion to achieve heights, mental peace, fortune, fame and happiness. He explained the students about Sound technology and the important role it plays in today’s digital world. He concluded with “Interest-academics relation” from the career point of view in any field out of respective engineering branches. The overall session was very interactive and students enjoyed talking to him about their interests.
