Alumni Connect Activity- Invited Talk

Faculty of Computer Applications organized an ‘Invited Talk’ by Mr. Sumit Kumar, Sr. Test Analyst, Bed Bath and Beyond, Gurugram, Alumni of BCA (2007-10) batch.

The topic of the ‘Talk’ was ‘Career Options in Software Testing’ and session was attended by the final year students of MCA, BCA, and B.Sc (IT).

It was a formal interaction with students and many technology-related issues were discussed by Mr. Kumar. He advised students to choose at least one language and excel in the same during their studies. This is always the best approach to be successful in the later years of their careers.

He also discussed the role of a software tester in project completion. Students were interactive during the whole session.

Dr. S. S. Tyagi, Dean, FCA and Dr. Shaveta Bhatia, HOD, CA discussed his work profile and felicitated him. He was taken to campus tour as well.
