Academic Visit To Attend A Session On Mixology
The students of Semester I and Semester III, B.Sc. Hospitality & Hotel Administration went for an academic visit to attend a session on Mixology. This visit was part of the curriculum for the First and Third Semester students and was executed in academic partnership with InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG Academy) at Hotel Crowne Plaza, New Delhi, Okhla.
The session commenced with a welcome note from the General Manager of the Hotel. This was the first its kind session on bartending skills with a professional bartender at a 5-star luxury hotel. Ms. Ramneek took an interactive session on history and background of classic cocktails. Also, Mr. Shiv, a renowned bartender who took another interactive session. He prepared 2 classic cocktails, 1 signature cocktail and 3 mocktails.
On arrival to the campus, a debriefing session was conducted by the accompanying faculty member. All students have been asked to submit a project report on learning from this visit.
