India International Hotel Travel and Tourism Research Conference was organized by Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology from February 15 – 16, 2019. The conference included formal presentations, workshops, awards and other industry related forums.
The aim of this conference was to bring together a unique and international mix of experts, researchers and decision makers both from academia and industry across the globe to exchange their knowledge; experience and research innovations in Hospitality and Tourism Education & Training and Quality Enhancement & Sustainability.
The students of MSc IV semester presented their research work as oral presentation, under the supervision of Ms. Varsha Srivastava, Assistant Professor, Dept of Nutrition and Dietetics. The titles of their work were ‘Development of Multi-fruit candy’ by Ms Dimpy Khurana; ‘Utilization of Beetroot and Raw Papaya as a Healthy Alternative for Commercial Food Spreads and Pizza Sauce’ by Ms Sonam and ‘Preparation of Mixed Fruit and Vegetable Jam and Squash using Ripe Papaya, Carrot and Strawberry’ by Ms Meenakshi Atwal. The students were well appreciated by the panellists and were presented with certificates and trophies.
