Under the aegis of NewGen IEDC, Manav Rachna International Institute of Research & Studies organized a 5 week Entrepreneurship Development Program sponsored by Department of Science and Technology under the NIMAT Scheme.
This would be attended by 25-30 students from various institutions. The program was inaugurated on February 18, 2019 and will be concluded on March 25, 2019.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Dr. Sanjay Srivastava, MD, MREI; Mr. R C Patnaik, General Manager, Indian Overseas Bank; Dr. M K Soni, PVC, MRIIRS; Dr. Mohit Gambhir, Innovation Director, Ministry of HRD; Mr. Ravi Vasudev, State General Secretary, HCCI; Mr. Sameer Aggarwal, Chief Chairman, NSIC; Mr. P S Manoj, DGM, SIDBI; Mr. S M Nomaan, Senior BM, NSIC; and Deans of various departments.
Total 100 applications from different parts of the country were received and after screening by the panel of experts and on subsequent telephonic interviews 30 participants were selected for the program.
Under this program eminent speakers from industry, banks, venture capitalists, Government officials, chartered accountants and managers will be addressing participants on various aspects of Entrepreneurship.
The programme content includes class room training on essentials of entrepreneurship survey of the prevalent socio – economic scenario, identification of business opportunities, role and function as well as schemes of assistance offered by various constituents of the support system, preparation of a technically feasible and economically viable project report, Achievement Motivation Training and the nuances of managing an enterprise.
