3D Printing and Scanning Workshop

Manav Rachna Innovation & Incubation Centre and Mechanical Engineering department of FET, MRIU have jointly organized a workshop on 3D printing and scanning on 29^th August 2017. The workshop was conducted by M/S Kamdhenu Enterprises and was attended by first year students of Mechanical Engineering department.

The workshop broadly covered the basics of 3D printing techniques, Additive Manufacturing Technology, 3D scanning and software like 123D design and Cura. Students were thrilled to see the live demonstration of the entire process right from scanning to printing. Students were trained on using Sense 3D scanners from 3D systems USA and 3D printing was performed using the existing facilities that are available in MRIIC.
