The Department of Computer Applications at Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies, strives to equip faculty and students with all the computing resources needed to address a wide range of scientific, technical, and socially complex problems. The Department imparts technical education for designing quirky technological applications and innovations. The Department accentuates value-based quality education through dedicated, well qualified, highly technocratic faculty members involved in latest areas of research such as Cloud computing, Computer Networking, Information retrieval and Data mining. The well-designed curriculum of BCA, B.Sc (IT) and MCA courses along with co-curricular activities such as Seminars, Conferences, Technical Quiz, Project display, Paper Presentations etc facilitate the students to compete in the corporate world and for higher studies. With the changing demands, we offer training, seminars, workshops, guest lecturers as well as special sessions on exclusive areas. Also, our Doctorate, PG and UG programs assist the students to become fluent in communication, problem-solving and leading the teams so that they become competent in working on eminent positions. The Department aims to foster an innovative research environment by providing a supportive, amiable, and challenge-based learning culture. The Department utilizes high-performance computing equipment and facilities to impart state-of-the-art technical knowledge to students and install a desire to pursue lifelong learning. A rigorous monitoring is used to evaluate the progress of students through a well-formed continuous evaluation and feedback mechanism. Mentoring system helps the students to improve their overall performance.
