Mr. Lolugu Govindarao has completed his M.Sc and M.Phil from Pondicherry University, Pudicherry. He has completed his Ph.D degree from Department of Mathematics, NIT Rourkela, Orissa under the supervision of Dr. Jugal Mohapatra on “Parameter uniform numerical methods for singularly perturbed parabolic partial differential equations”.
Mr. Lolugu Govindarao has research interest in numerical methods for solving time-dependent singularly perturbed parabolic initial boundary value problems in one and two dimensions on non-uniform meshes. When a small parameter known as the singular perturbation parameter is multiplied with the higher order terms of the differential equation, then the differential equation becomes singularly perturbed. In this type of problems, there are regions where the solution varies very rapidly known as boundary layers and the region where the solution varies uniformly known as the outer region.
Mr. Lolugu Govindarao has published 6 papers in various international journal of repute and presented 2 papers in various International and National conferences. His current research area includes time delay singularly perturbed parabolic initial boundary value problems in two dimensions on non-uniform meshes.
