B.Tech. Electronics and Communication Engineering Bachelor of Technology, is a four-year undergraduate engineering degree program that deals with the study of electronic devices, circuits, communication systems, and software-hardware interfaces. The department offers a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) program in Electronics and Communication, with a specialization in Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) in association with Truechip, a leading design and verification specialist. This specialization is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to design and develop integrated circuits using VLSI technology. The program covers topics such as digital design, analog and mixed-signal design, verification and testing, and system-on-chip (SoC) design. This can be attained by additional 20 credits in VLSI domain courses. For specialization in VLSI Design and Verification, the department of ECE has collaborated with Truechip, and FutureWiz for developing skilled manpower and imparting VLSI training to students, where the industry is involved in all 8 semesters for conducting lecture sessions, training, workshops, industry-designed courses, gues,t lectures, and value-added courses.

Yes, multiple Scholarship schemes are offered by Manav Rachna University. Candidates may avail scholarships on the basis of marks secured in qualifying examination or MRNAT, sports etc. Application for the same may be made according to University norms with supporting documents and certificates. Haryana Govt. scholarship is also offered to Haryana domicile students whose parental income is less than 2.8 lacs per Annum. Details of all scholarships are available on MRU website.

The eligibility criteria is 50% marks in 10+2 with English, Physics, chemistry and Mathematics as mandatory subjects and one addition subject. Students appearing in qualifying examination in the coming year may also apply. Their admission shall however be provisional, subject to confirmation upon obtaining qualifying marks for admission which is at least 50%.

The Department has strong interaction with industries and the students are exposed to the cutting-edge technologies applied in industries by way of internships, in-plant trainings, guest lectures from corporate persons and industrial visits. Industrial visits have been organized to the industries like ST Microelectronics, Infineon, Ericsson, Truechip, KPMG, MTNL, BSNL, Mitsubishi, Moserbaer, Tricolitte etc. In order to keep updated with the latest cutting edge technologies, MoU have been signed with Industrial organisations like True Chip, Srijan Sanchar, Altair, Design Tech etc.

Manav Rachna University is a State Private University (established by Haryana State Legislature Act No 26 of 2014 & under section 2(f) of UGC Act 1956). The University has evolved from Manav Rachna College of Engineering (MRCE, established in 2004), a NAAC Accredited ‘A’ Grade Institution ranked 10th among all the private engineering institutes of the country and 29th among all engineering institutes across the country including IITs and NITs by The Times Engineering survey (May 27th, 2016).
