LAW INTERNSHIPS AND ROLE OF LAW PLACEMENT CELL

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]An internship is an integral part of the five years B.A. LL.B, B.B.A. LL.B & B.COM LL.B Programme at Faculty of Law, Manav Rachna University and is governed by the Bar Council of India (Part IV) Rules of Legal Education 2010. As per the norms of the Bar Council of India, students have to undertake 20 weeks of internship during the B.A. LL.B, B.B.A. LL.B & B.COM LL.B. course. Faculty of Law, MRU is privileged to have some of the greatest personalities in the field of politics, academics and research, judiciary, police, and bureaucracy as our patrons facilitating the internship opportunities. The internship aims at widening the student's perspective by providing exposure to real-life organizational, legal, and environmental situations. This will enable the students to explore industry and organization, build a relationship with a prospective employer (advocate), or simply hone their skills in a familiar field. An internship also provides invaluable knowledge and networking experience to the students.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image="123488" img_size="" alignment="center" onclick="zoom"][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Internship and Placement Committee of the Faculty of Law is very active and assists students to get internships and future placements. The Committee is headed by a faculty member supervising student volunteers who work throughout the year under their guidance. The Placement committee, along with students, enthusiastically works round the year for networking and relationship building with prospective employers. The Internship Cell governs matters related to internships for students of the Faculty of Law and ensures compliance with the rules, regulations, and guidelines of the Institution. Special attention is paid to the personality development of the students, right from the first year to make them acquire quality legal skills and abilities. The Committee is on a glorious path of success and students are getting employment with good packages in corporate spheres, NGOs, and Law firms.
