Automobile Engineering is a degree course of four year duration. Students who are planning to pursue this course should have a science background (PCM) and should have passed their 10+2 or any equivalent exam from CBSE or a recognised board and must have studied Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics as main subjects. To be eligible for admission, the student should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in their board exams. The students with a diploma in the mechanical or related streams can also take admission directly in second year in B.Tech Automobile Engineering (lateral entry).
