A General Academic Collaboration Agreement was signed between MREI and EIA University Colombia.
The EIA University was founded as a non-profit private organization on February 14, 1978 by a group of 27 leaders from the private, academic and public sectors in Columbia. Throughout its history, EIA has been recognized for the formation of professionals with high academic and personal qualities.EIA has been the only Latin American winners (twice) in the TR 35 Young Innovators Price awarded by MIT Technology Review.
EIA offers research and service projects in cooperation with excellent organizations and industries in Colombia. It shares an Innovation Center with Conconcreto, a large design and building company, located at Las Palmas campus. The EIA Campuses include experimental activities for learning and research. This agreement covers all aspects of academic collaboration between the two universities in the areas pertaining to Student and Faculty Exchange, Joint Research and Consultancy Activities, Seminars and Academic Meetings, Exchange of Academic materials and other information, Special Short Term Academic Programs and Projects, Cooperation in Curriculum Development and Quality Assurance, Collaboration in International Seminars, Conferences and Education Export. Such collaborations are a part of MREI ethos in providing world class education to the students while bringing in international best practices in education.
