II-Sem Students of BBA Healthcare Management visited Sarvodaya Hospital, Faridabad. The objective of the visit was to understand the culture of hospital sector and its different components. Dr Vandana Bhardwaj, Head, Non-Medical Operations of the hospital, along with her team, provided the assistance to accomplish the visit.
This visit has provided a lot of new and valuable information regarding the hospital sector. The students became aware about the different new terminologies, which enriched their vocabulary as well as domain knowledge. The students experienced the process of working in hospital – not only medical staffs but also non-medical employees. They visited and understood the functionality of Blood Bank, IPD, OPD, MRI Centre, Pathology – Laboratory, Wellness Centre etc., which gave them the basic view of truly working in the hospitals.
Students learnt a lot about hospitals and its different departments with unique working and challenges. The students got benefitted by observing a supportive environment in the hospitals. The visit also enriched the students to know more about their course in coming semesters.
