A team of the Bar council of India (BCI) recently visited the Faculty of Law, Manav Rachna University.
BCI is a statutory body and regulates the legal practice and legal education in India. Besides all these functions, the BCI also set standards for legal education and grants recognition to Universities whose degree in law will serve as a qualification for students to enroll themselves as advocates upon graduation. The team comprised 8 members led by former Hon’ble Justice R. N Prasad, Patna High Court.
The inspection team conducted a field visit of the infrastructural facilities of the Faculty of Law, Manav Rachna University so that the varsity could commence its LLB programme.
They were impressed by the credentials of the teaching members of the faculty, a newly constructed air conditioned building having smart classrooms, Moot Court hall, common rooms for boys and girls, auditorium and legal aid centre. They also appreciated a dedicated law library, digital library and the language lab.
