Q.What are the minimum requirements for applying for BDS course?
The candidate must complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the BDS course. The candidate must have passed the higher secondary examination or the Indian School Certificate examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher Secondary examination. The student must have obtained 50% marks in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and must have qualifying marks in English. For SC, ST or OBC, the minimum marks shall be 40%.The candidate should have qualified in NEET –UG of the year of admission

Q.How selection is done?
Selection is purely done on merit through a proper entrance exam, 50% by State Govt. and 50% by Management on Merit i.e. : NEET(National eligibility cum entrance test)2017.
The admission procedure is subject to change as per guidelines of Hon’ble Supreme court/Central/Haryana State Government.

Q.Where can I get the information and application forms?
We follow paperless application process and all information is available on the college website.

Q.Is the college recognized?
Yes, the College is duly recognized by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India, Dental Council of India vide letter no. Vide Notification No. V-12017/116/2005-DE, dated 30th November 2010.

Q.Is the college NAAC Accredidated?

Yes, The College is NAAC “A” Grade Accredited Institute.

Q.Can I depute someone as a nominee for counseling if I am not able to travel/ come down?
No, physical presence of the candidate is a must on the day of counseling.

Q.Should I need to pay the admission / tuition fee at the time of counseling / admission?
Yes, the fee is to be paid on the day of counseling/admission by demand draft.

Q.Is there any facility for payment of fees in installments?
No, the entire first year fees is to be paid on the day of counseling/admission and subsequent fees on the dates to be notified.

Q.Is there any capitation fee?
No, candidates need to pay only the prescribed fees as per the guidelines of Haryana government.

Q.Is there any agent who can help me in getting admission to MRDC?
No. However, we do have designated City Offices which help candidates for getting admission form and other related information.

Q.Is there any management quota?
Admissions are purely on merit basis. As per the State Govt. Policy, 50% seats are to be filled up at College level in a fair and transparent manner. Last year the admissions under management quota were done ONLY from NEET qualified candidates.

Q.Will I get hostel allotment at the time of admission?
Yes, all admitted candidates are entitled for hostel accommodation on a first cum first serve basis.

Q.Does the college have transport facility?
Yes, MREI owns a fleet of luxury AC/Non AC buses. Transport facility is provided for inter-city (Delhi NCR), covering Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Palwal Ballabgarh, Faridabad. Shuttle service from Badarpur Border, Badkhal Metro Station to MRDC is also available.

Q.Is there any extracurricular activities avenues promoted / facility available at MRDC where I can improve upon my skills?
There are plenty of facilities and promoted avenues for the overall personality development including Shooting Range, Various Sports activities, CDC programmes , Foreign Language etc.

Q.Will I get a total refund, if I withdraw my admission?
Refund is done as per the refund rules as mentioned in the information on the website.

Q.What are the documents required while attending the counseling?

  • NEET score
  • 10th standard mark sheet for DOB
  • Marks card of 10 +2
  • Medical fitness certificate
  • Address proof
  • Character Certificate from institution last attended
  • Migration/ transfer certificate
  • 6 recent passport size photos
  • 2 sets of photocopies of each document

Q.Who can apply under/ for NRI quota?
Foreign nationals or Non Resident Indians or Indian nationals supported by either parents or brother or sister or spouse having NRI status can apply under the Foreign/ NRI category, provided they have qualified in NEET examination.

Q.Is the mess, laundry fee included in the hostel fees?
Yes.

Q.Where can I avail for a loan facility?
We have a tie up with Punjab National Bank and Corporation Bank and State Bank of India who provide education loan to our students of various courses and we facilitate the same. But, the candidate and/or his parent must satisfy the Bank requirements to avail educational loan.

Q.Does the college run post graduate courses?
Yes, 3 years MDS Course is running in the specialty of Orthodontia, Prosthodontia, Conservative & Endodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, Periodontology, Oral Pathology, Oral Medicine & Radiology since 2012. Sixth batch will be admitted in 2017.

Q.What are the minimum requirements for applying for MDS course?
Candidate seeking admission to Post Graduate Dentistry course should have qualified in NEET MDS 2017 and hold a BDS degree of recognized University by DCI. A candidate who has completed one year compulsory rotating internship or is likely to complete the same on or before 31st March 2017 or as per any modification by University/DCI, can apply. All such candidates will have to submit the documentary proof, from the Principal / Dean of the college regarding the likely date of completion of internship along with the application form, failing which the application shall be rejected. A candidate should have obtained permanent registration with DCI (as the case may be) or any state council. If candidate does not have such registration, he should obtain the same within one month from the date of his/her admission.

Q.How selection is done?
Selection is done through counseling according to merit list prepared based on NEET MDS 2017 results,  60% by State Govt. and 40% by Management. The admission procedure is subject to change as per guidelines of Hon’ble Supreme court/central/ Haryana state government admission notification.

Q.What is the annual intake of students?
Three students each in the branches of Prosthodontics, Conservative Dentistry, Orthodontics, Periodontics, Pedodontics, Oral medicine and Oral pathology

Q.Where can I get the information and application forms?
It can be obtained from the college or admission cell or the marketing offices across the country

No, personal appearance of the candidate is a must to avail seat.

Q.Should I need to pay the admission / tuition fee at the time of counseling / admission?
Yes otherwise the seat will be allotted to the next candidate in merit list.

Q.Is there any facility for payment of fees in installments?
No, the seat will be allotted to next candidate on merit list.

Q.Is there a capitation fee?
No, the selection is purely on merit on the basis of criteria outlined above.

Q.Is there any agent who can help me in getting admission to MRDC?
No, admission is done in proper manner via govt. laid down norms in the presence of Govt. and University appointed nominee.

Q.Will I get hostel allotment at the time of admission?
Yes, if applicable.

Q.Does the college have transport facility?
Yes, College has a dedicated fleet of buses for transport.

Q.Will I get a total refund, if I withdraw my admission?
No refunds are applicable if seat is once allotted and fee paid.

Q.What are the documents required while attending the counseling?
All the original documents like NEET 2017 score card, Internship completion, BDS Mark sheets, Date of Birth, Migration Certificate, DCI registration, BDS Degree, Character Certificate, and school passing certificate along with Address proof have to be submitted.

Q.Can I take back the original documents?
Yes after the university has validated it.

Q.Where can I avail for a loan facility?
Yes, eligible candidates can avail loan facility for higher education from Nationalized Bank branches like PNB etc.
