The Objective

To produce Graduates, who are industry ready and can excel in the field of Advertising & Public Relations and are well versed with the modern digital PR and advertising tools. And will have the options to work in Public Sector Enterprises, Ad Agencies and in various spheres of Advertising & Public Relations.

The Course is divided into two semesters:

The course will conclude with a one-month internship for the students. There will be five papers taught in each semester. Each paper will have a Unit devoted to Research and digital aspect of the subject. Each semester will end with exams comprising of the papers taught in the respective semester.

Intake: As this course will have a major component of a lab and industrial training, the intake will be limited and based on two-tier screening process.

Internship/Placement Opportunities

After the completion of one year Post Graduate Diploma Course in Advertising & Public Relations, the students would be eligible for placements in Advertising and Public Relations industry in the following verticals:

  1. In the private sector, students will be qualified to work in the Corporate Communication, Public Relations Agencies, Digital Media Agencies, Advertising Agencies, Media Planning, Media Buying Agencies, Research Agencies, and Radio FM Channels.
  2. Students will also be qualified for various positions in government agencies like DAVP, AIR & Doordarshan and PSE.
