The study of human behavior is of paramount importance in understanding how a human being behaves in a given situation, under the influence of varying external and internal factors. Applied Psychology has evolved to be the most important branch of Social Sciences in recent times, particularly when it comes to the prediction of individual human behavior.

Course Highlight

The MA Applied Psychology programme offered by FMS, MRIU lays an emphasis on understanding & applying psychology through experiential learning and hands on activities, apart from classroom learning. This includes the use of the HUMAN LAB, which is a Centre for Psychometric Assessment, Psychological Counseling, Psychotherapy & Training & Development at FMS, MRIU.

Students gain proficiency in handling a large number of psychological tests. They also conduct one to one counseling sessions for individuals needing emotional support. Students also undertake research surveys and make presentations of research findings. They also publish and present research papers at National and International seminars. The objective is to help the Applied Psychology student strengthen domain knowledge and to hone applied skills which are needed in the real world workplace.
